Welcome! My name is Eric Stefl. I’m based in Brookfield, WI. I’ve been designing and building furniture for over 20 years. My journey began as my father and I renovated the second floor of my first home. The house was a beautiful bungalow style with original woodwork on the main level. The second level had been finished at some point in the past but did not match the quality of the first level. We used the original trim as inspiration as we transformed the second floor to match the beauty of the first. This was my first introduction to working with wood, and I was hooked. I began consuming all of the information on woodworking I could, and was particularly inspired by Chris Schwarz (now of Lost Art Press) and the pages of Fine Woodworking Magazine. I quickly branched into creating furniture and built pieces to match the beautiful environment my father and I had created.

I’m a self taught craftsman who has spent the last 24 years in corporate America. I’m now pursuing my passion for design and good work on a full time basis.

The name Three Arrows was chosen for many reasons. Arrows symbolize forward progress, pursuit of goals, and overcoming of obstacles. It felt like the perfect symbol to signify the pursuit of achieving a dream. Three symbolizes harmony and balance. It also represents our three sons.
